Burley Pubs, Inns and Clubs
The village of Burley has three pubs, two conveniently situated within walking distance of the Cross in the centre of Burley. There is also a social club which offers food to the public and another pub on the outskirts of the village.
The Queens Head, Burley. Offers local ales and food. The Queens Head is a great all rounder. Relax, drink, eat and appreciate the genuinely friendly atmosphere that you will receive from the owners and staff. You will even get a warm welcome from the resident cat if you are lucky enough to see him. Just one thing to mention… There’s more to this pub than meets the eye. There is talk that a hidden tunnel runs from The Queens Head directly to The Burley Manor. A secret tunnel which allowed smugglers to take their goods to the manor without being seen.
The Burley Inn is situated ext to the Cross in the centre of Burley. Offering good value accommodation as well as food and drink. The inn has an ‘olde world’ feel and has a great location overlooking the centre of the village.
There is a large covered area for smokers.
The White Buck Inn is situated about half a mile from the Burley Cross near to Bisterne Close. A gentle walk from Burley Golf Club.
It has a great beer garden with swings and ropes for children to enjoy while the adults relax in the garden. The White Buck has a large car park, bike park and even a space to tether your horse or pony.
The Burley Club. Located behind the Burley Inn in the centre of the village provides great value food and drink.
This is where many of the locals will prefer to drink.
