New Forest & Hampshire County Show 2010
This year, the New Forest Show will be held on the 27th, 28th & 29th of July 2010 at New Park near the village of Brockenhurst in the grounds of the New Park Manor Hotel.
There are a huge list of events including the Devil’s Horsemen, the live stage in the Forest Fun Factory, shopping at one of the many stands at the shopping pavilion, cattle, pigs, sheep, international horses, falcons, hawks, terrier and ferret racing, cookery displays not to mention plenty of good food places to eat.

Beaulieu Road Pony Sales 2010
The Beaulieu Road Pony Sales are held several times a year. Held adjacent to Beaulieu Road Train Station on the B3056 approximately half way between Lyndhurst and Beaulieu in the heart of the New Forest National Park.
The auction takes place to enable Commoners of the New Forest to sell their ponies and donkeys. The sales have taken place at Beaulieu Road for over 60 years, before this time being held in Lyndhurst.
The event is run by The New Forest Livestock Society who were granted a 25 year lease to organise at least five sales per year on behalf of the Commoners. The New Forest Livestock Society was formed in 2001 when the New Forest Pony Breeding and Cattle Society joined forces with the Commoners Defence Association.

Come along to the Burley Fire Station this Saturday 20th March 2010 and help support your local fire fighters. They are offering a car wash for a small donation of £5.00 along with free smiles and laughs.
A great team of firefighters will have your car shining and ready to go in no time.

On 17th November 2009, Caroline Johnson, who is a fitness instructor from Verwood, Dorset, suffered a serious fall when her horse ‘Flash’ was spooked by a dog at Moors Valley Country Park.
She suffered a broken neck and broken back and was rescued by the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.
To thank these wonderful people for their amazing work and to ‘give back’ for their tremendous help on that unfortunate day, Caroline is organising a sponsored walk to raise funds for this charity (which has no government funding).
The walk will start at Potterne Park in Verwood to Moors Valley Country Park on Sunday 25th April 2010.
The route is six miles or a shorter three mile route is also on offer.
Walkers aim to set off between 10am & 12noon.
