Hungerford Cottage Bed and Breakfast
Hungerford Cottage B&B is situated in Minstead which is close to Lyndhurst, the capital of the New Forest. This bed and breakfast is set in ancient woodland and has direct forest access. Hungerford Cottage has it’s own paddock for the horses, a garden with a fish pond, chickens who provide fresh eggs for breakfast and is within walking distance of the village.

Hungerford Cottage is an attractive B&B situated in the heart of the New Forest. My partner and I were given a warm welcome and made to feel at home in a lovely twin room. Each morning we were greeted by the view of wild ponies, grazing pigs and cows from our bedroom window, which was absolutely delightful. Minstead is a lovely setting for a peaceful, relaxing break and Hungerford Cottage is superb value. As vegetarians we were well catered for with a hearty cooked breakfast. Within easy walking distance of the cottage is Furzey Gardens, which is a beautiful space and well worth a visit. All in all a very pleasant stay, made all the more enjoyable thanks to our friendly and welcoming hosts.
