Lyndhurst New Forest Book Fair
The New Forest Book Fair returns after its two month Summer break on Saturday 24th September – quite a lot of local interest this month, but as always something for all booklovers!
This month’s Hampshire’s largest book fair (and with something for everyone!), the New Forest Book Fair at Lyndhurst Community Centre, Saturday 24th September has New Forest authors Georgina Babey and Peter Roberts chatting to the public and signing the revised and updated “Lyndhurst: A Brief History and Guide”.
As always there will be much of regional interest, including maps and prints, and something for every booklover including those whose interests extend beyond the area.
We have something for everyone, from £1.00 paperbacks to special interest and antiquarian collectables.
Free antiquarian map and book valuations on the day. AND, we would like to hear from Hampshire residents who were young music lovers in the 1960s and attended one of the region’s first discotheques, “The Adam and Eve” in Southampton.
The Community Centre is on the main Lyndhurst car park, on area bus routes, free admission from 10am-4pm. Further information from 023 80781927 (no late evening calls please)
