Woodside Lodge Bed and Breakfast
Woodside Lodge B&B is set in the tranquil village of Newtown near Minstead, in the New Forest National Park, Hampshire.
Situated within the cattle grid, where ponies and cattle roam freely, this is perfect for those who want peace, tranquility and fresh air together with the freedom to roam the forest.
Superb forest walks make this an ideal retreat for nature lovers and bird watchers, walkers and cyclists.
Dog lovers are welcome to bring their pet to Woodside Lodge (subject to prior consent) with a convenient one acre paddock on site giving your dog the chance to explore and exercise while you relax in the courtyard.

The Accommodation:
Woodside Lodge currently consists of three double rooms, each with an en-suite shower room, wc and hand basin. All equipped with tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer, TV and DVD. All of the rooms are detached from the main residence for your added privacy.

The Grounds:
The rooms are set next to their own courtyard garden with ample outdoor furniture to relax and soak up the sun, listen to the birds or gaze at the stars on a warm evening. Adjoining the courtyard is a one acre paddock.

Breakfast:
A full english breakfast, including vegetarian breakfast if required, is served in the conservatory which is also located in the courtyard garden with views over the paddock.
If the weather is warm why not have your breakfast served in the courtyard for that real out-door start to your day.

Local Amenities:
- Cycle hire is available in the village together with local horse-riding facilities. The Trusty Servant pub is conveniently situated within walking distance of the B&B and provide local pub food and a warm relaxing atmosphere.
The New Forest Inn is a little further away which offers a great friendly atmosphere together with fantastic food and real wood fires to relax beside. To find out what you will find in the local village of Minstead please click here.

Thank you for an absolutely brilliant weekend. Everything at the lodge was absolutely perfect and you could not have made our stay more comfortable or us feel more welcome. We will definitely be coming back and I would recommend your bed and breakfast to anyone

Thoroughly enjoyable stay at Woodside Lodge where all of our needs were met, above and beyond expectations. Owners Tania & Alan (not forgetting the puppy Pippa!) were very accommodating, always putting our needs first making sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. The cabins have all you need, there is a wonderful paddock to relax in and for evening meals there is a lovely rural pub nearby.
Would recommend Woodside to anyone wishing to stay in the New Forest, and will be recommending to all my friends and family.
Exactly what we wanted and more. Thank you!
